Joachim Milder and Chick Lyall Quartet Pianist Chick Lyall and Swedish saxophonist Joachim Milder have established a very intriguing musical partnership in a series of collaborations in Scotland. and the logical next step had to be to document some of their explorations on disc. Caber Music has duly obliged. and these appearances with Mike Dunning (bass) and Tom BanCroft (drums) mark the launch of Lyall's Broken Dreams. even thOugh the disc is not officially in the shops until February.
