MR MCFALL’S CHAMBER

The idiosyncratic McFall’s team up with jazzers Phil Bancroft (saxophones), Chick Lyall (piano) and Phil Alexander (piano and accordion) for this concert, following a short Highland tour. The music will reflect their characteristic mix, taking in jazz, tango and klezmer, as well as two new pieces commissioned for this line-up by Caber Music, Bancroft's Levin ’s Capitulation and Lyall‘s Flashback. 'Caber commissioned them a while ago.‘ says violinist Robert McFall. ‘But they were dragging their heels 3 bit. so I suggested this tour, and that encouraged them to get them finished.‘ (Kenny Mathieson) I (Jim *I“:.‘ /’.:‘/. .’ .:'."i>.r'.:/‘.
