Tennent ’s Lager and Dazed 8. Confused have joined forces to create a unique magazine with playable flexi-disc pages. The first T Magazine, Celebrate the Song, is released on 4 October and we have 10 copies and 10 cases of Tennent's Lager to give away to List readers.
Contained within the first T Magazine is a selection of cutting-edge articles on the state of song today, as well as contributions from leading musicians and artists such as Bjork, Tim Burgess, Donovan and Nancy Sinatra.
With a nostalgic nod, the flexi-disc is revived and included in T Magazine with two playable pages featuring exclusive songs from highly talented up and coming artists M.Craft and Nic Armstrong, with accompanying interviews.
As MP3 playlists,internet radio and mobile ringtones threaten to consign the CD to history, the emphasis is firmly back on the power of individual songs to set our pulses racing, our feet stomping and our hearts a flutter. With this in mind T Magazine takes an authoritative but irreverent look at all aspects of The Song and songwriting,past,present and future -from Muddy Waters to Mike Skinner,Woody Guthrie to Wu Tang Clan.
T Magazine is limited to a run of 5000 and is available in places like Fopp, HMV, Urban Outfitters, Odd One Out and other fine outlets for just £5.
