IMPEACH FOR THE STARS Move to kick out Blair

I SNP leader Alex Salmond’s (pictured) campaign to get Tony Blair impeached got a mixed reception. The Scotsman let the comeback kid argue his case in its ‘Platform’ column but didn’t offer a jot of its own opinion. The Herald offered a rather disparaging story headlined ‘Luvvies line up to back Salmond’s call to impeach Blair’ and focused more on the celebs involved than the reasons for the move. The Daily Record squeezed in a tiny wee story that made it look like novelist Iain Banks was fuelling the drive himself.

The toothy media diva also tells 0080/ that her biggest tear in the Jungle would be ‘llstening to people like Paul Burrell Wittering on about Diana's cake recipes.

I Sneak (no, we hadn’t heard of it either) boasted a list of jungle stars’ ‘shameful secrets’. These included the fact that Sorrell had her back waxed before going on the show and Appleton’s confession that she used to bully a nerd to enhance her own popularity. This clearly happened in the days before lads’ mags.

Reveal’s collection of ‘secrets of the jungle stars’ includes the fact that - hold your breath - Joe Pasquale used to work in a margarine factory. Oh. My. God. And Sheila Ferguson from the Three Degrees loves dressing up as a French maid during sex.

Best of all, though, is Star’s photo of Appleton before plastic surgery. an Ia celeb!

‘The conditions of toilets in tourist spots is one of the issues holding back tourism in China.’

‘At the end of it I didn’t like having cameras around the house all the time.’

‘Using sex to sell has reached saturation point.’

‘I get a chill down my spine if I see an old stone- thatched cottage, particularly if it’s been properly maintained.’

‘We don't believe that the scene was degrading or harmful to the boar.’
