WORKSHOP BLACK SUN OVER GENOA

Help us create a spectacle extraordinaire this summer! In response to the 68 Summit taking place this year at Gleneagles, Scotland,Theatre Workshop, Edinburgh Will produce a large scale theatrical production, and is looking for some extraordinary talents to help us achieve our aims:

Community Co-ordinator Will be responsible for efficient organisation of

the project, managing and maximising the involvement of all participants, as well as supporting the artistic vision of the programme. You will be an extremely well organised, well scheduled, individual with effective communication skills and the empathy to understand, lead and deliver

a team of indiwduals, With varying reqwrements. A theatre background is preferred.

You will be part of a professional artistic team, involved in devising and

developing the production and Will have a background in at least one of the followmg; Drama, Music, DCSlgn,

Street Theatre/Circus Skills. Additionally you will be an excellent communicator with innovative ideas, the ability to lead volunteer participants. and most of all, a burning passion for the G8 summit issues we will explore, culminating in this grand scale theatrical production.

All positions are for a five month contract commencing mid February 2005.

Trainee outreach and education officer North Edinburgh Arts Centre is offering an

arts exciting and innovative 12 month traineeship for an enthusiastic graduate with a background in arts, educa- tion and/or community arts. The trainee will assist in developing a year round arts programme for children and young people and families, with special emphasis on the community in North Edinburgh. The Trainee will also assist NEAC promote access, excellence and participation in the arts.
