Around Town

Name Adam Waters

Job Actor/Braveheart impersonator

Background Hilery has been a part ol my life since I was kid: it was the only thing that I was good at in school. The Brave/ieart character came along because they needed someone to promote the release of the Video. Also. my friends have worked on film sets (the big looming barbarian in G/adrator is my stunt coordinator) and they encouraged me. Future plans It started as a hobby but now has developed so that I should start working With Johnny Depp in the Summer. in The Pirates of the Caribbean II. Channel 4 have done a dOCumentary. and I'm working With David Dimbleby tomorrow. Inspiration Rock mu3ic is my inspiration, the way that Gene Simmons from Kiss struts with his guitar. Lemmy from Mbtbrhead is a very good friend of mine. I've been taken on stage with Rod Stewart. Deep Purple and Metallica.

Where do the clothes come from? The costume is all from the moves: the boots are from Gladiator. the tartan was used in Brave/lean and the animal furs were in King Arthur (the new one). which is my favourite filn'i.

All this is for charity? Yes. I'm raising money for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

What would William Wallace say about the new parliament building? No comment. but I think that it’s horrendous. it looks out of place. The idea behind it is fantastic: we should never have been without it. Freedom!

I Adam can be found near the castle esp/anade. Edinburgh a/most every day.
