The City of Edinburgh Council and Scottish Enterprise Edinburgh and Lothians wish to commission a survey to estab- lish a comprehensive database of events venues and facilities for Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Edinburgh has been hosting an increasing number of major, high profile events over recent years. As each successful event has raised awareness and the profile of the city so it has also raised interest and demand for hosting more events.
