The annual Pride march takes place in Edinburgh on 25 June, and pretty much every gay club and bar in town will be donating a DJ to the massive Ocean Pride Party - a massive after party - down at Ocean Terminal. It’s organised by Alan Joy and will be spread across two rooms. Twitch and Wilkes moonlighting in their other DJ guise are to release the first in their Black Rabbit Whorehouse singles series ‘Vol 1‘ this month on OSCarr. As per usual. expect leltfield Quality from the duo. with a glitch techno and micro house vibe.
It’s a big day for Messenger Soundsystem on 11 June. There’s their usual club night at the Bongo, but they are also putting in a daytime session on Leith Links between 3pm and 5pm, as part of the Leith Festival 2005. Sunshine and deep dub grooves - what more could you want?
