They sprung out of the Los Angeles underground hip hop scene in the early 905, working that kind of upbeat vibe that endeared their forefathers De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest to us in the past. While they never blew up like Outkast - they’re a bit too down to earth for that kind of mass consumption - they remain as true to the cause of nailing fresh beats to positive rhymes, a simple philosophy too many ballers and shot callers forget nowadays.
