Artist in Residence (p/t) in three Communication Disorder Units in Glasgow Primary Schools.

Project Ability is seeking a visual artist with experience of working with young people with autistic spectrum disorders to undertake a residency in three specialist units culminating in an exhibition at the Centre for Developmental Arts. The post is for 16 weeks with each school, 21 hrs a week: 7hrs in school, 7 hrs research and writing, 7 hrs personal studio time. Fee £15000 over 2 academic years beginning January 2006.

A new edition of The List's annual Eating & Drinking Guide will be published in April 2006. We are now looking to fill a small number of gaps in our editorial team by recruiting new reviewers who can write effectively and knowledge- ably about restaurants in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

You will need to be able to compose sharp. concise prose as well as display thoroughness and accuracy in researching information. You should be able to write with confidence and insight about food and drink in general. and be familiar with the eating out scene in Glasgow or Edinburgh. You will also need to have reliable access to email and the web. be com- puter literate and be available to submit work to tight dead- lines in January. February and early March 2006.

Please note that all reviewing is on a part-time. freelance basis, and can normally be fitted around separate full-time work.
