The latest club news

We had a fairly Glasgow- centric look at NYE last issue so here's a few Edinburgh nights for your Hogmanay delectation. Progression and Tokyoblu are joining forces for Hogmanay with all their residents hitting the decks as well as a live set from the phenomenal Tokyoblu Band (there are 300 limited early bird tickets going at just £15 before 1 December). Gay girls night Velvet are seeing in their first New Year down at Mariners (formerly the Commplex) with all the usual shenanigans that involves. And finally (after their Hogmanay Hanky Panky through in Glasgow) Club Noir make their first ever trip to the Capital on 1 January for a New Year Noir at Cabaret Voltaire, the perfect way to start 2006. Beat 106's Love Beat Weekends are on tour across Scotland until December. Highlights include Colours with the Body Rockers. Sister Bliss and Sander Kleinenberg (5 November. the Arches. Glasgow) and the MK date at Ghetto Fabulous at Cabaret Voltaire (previewed page 34). There is also a party at a secret location in Kirkcaldy on 11 November. a DJ set from Snow Patrol (241 November.
