"l‘he original idea came abottt while sitting in a bar wondering why people in Scotland wear so many yintage Americana 'l‘-shiits.‘ says Aaron. "I‘here is plenty of history in atid around (ilasgow and we thought it was strange that

people would wear a l-s‘ltit'l saying “l'niyersity ol‘ Ohio" or ‘WE “Jimbob‘s Bar Kansas” without haying been there or knowing anything about it. We decided to haye a go at designing tees based on where we are.‘ Designs that lit the bill include a black tee emblazoned with the yellow logo or the ('lyde Valley lilectrical Company. or a red and white depiction of the Kingston Bridge. For a tnere £15. they‘re proying popular with a diyerse audience. says Aaron. ‘()ur customers come from a wide yariety ol‘ places. We haye the net geeks who want something no one else has. students buy from us because we are cheap and quite a l‘ew people haye bought purely because they like the 'l‘-shirts‘ releyance to (ilasgowf ()ther designs that get the thumbs tip include any featuring 'l‘oby. a quirky. swaggering being who walks with his oyersi/ed arms in the air. The character has been known to pop up in sticker and graffiti l‘orm on the streets of (ilasgow -- he is
