XFM’s underground ambassador Mash gives the lowdown

I Music piracy is a crime. Do not accept it. Music companies have spent millions of pounds in researching a solution to the music piracy and file sharing problem. FOrtunes in revenue are lost every year due to black- market 005 in circulation. Rumours of a new format that cannot be copied by computer can now be confirmed. Known as the ‘12" vinyl record', the new format will not fit into a computer disc tray and favours the ‘analogue' as opposed to the ‘digital' format. A ‘record player' or ‘turntable' is required to play back the new format. and adds additional sounds to the recorded music known in the industry as ‘crackles' (please note this can add to the feel of the music and will make the music sound less sugary sweet). These aforementioned ‘12" vinyl records' will come presented in a graphic designed record sleeve that will sit nicely on your shelves as opposed to a dull blank CDR with marker pen scribbles. They are also very collectable and can hold their value. or even escalate in value as they cannot be COpied. You can discuss your ‘record collection' with other collectors and maybe even adapt the idea of file sharing by visiting so called ‘record shops.‘ Here you can browse through different musical genres and maybe even try something new or receive advice from others. which is an idea copied from internet chat rooms. 00th are catching on to the new format. and have realised that DJing with ‘vinyl' (for short). adds a visual dimension to the DJing experience. moving on from the ‘bloke checking his emails' look of old. Rumours that Apple Mac are working on an ‘iTurntable'. are frankly all in my head.
