THE FALLING MAN
Of the many images that startled the world on 11 September, 2001, the shot of the man plummeting from the Twin Towers, remains one of the most haunting. A Channel 4 documentary traces the story of some of the key players behind this moment: the photographer who nearly died taking the picture, the editors who published and then withdrew the shot and the journalist who finally uncovered the jumper’s identity.
