2;: The official launch for the Sub Club’s pub, MacSorleys Music Bar (42 Jamaica Street, Glasgow), is on 10 March. Expect subverted pub entertainment: karaoke with live backing band and a suitably skewed song list (Fridays), ‘off kilter’ music pub quizzes (Wednesdays) plus food, footie, club warm-up sessions, live bands, DJs and that unique Subbie vibe.

Get a Room is hack for another dose of lIttISlC goodness at the Brunswrck Hotel Glasgow (11 March). The IIne—up Is never announced until the doors open but expect some sheer quality seeing that everyone from Uncle John 8. Whitelock and the Glasgow Gospel Chou played live while the hkes of Bloc Party. Franz Ferdinand. LiveVevil and Club (39 manned the decks.
