Call us old fashioned but our general reaction to any band
with swear words in their name tends to be that well, they‘re probably shit. Shitdisco’s debut single ‘Disco Blood’/ ‘I Know Kung Fu' was a whole plop full of stupid, smutty fun but it was all a little underwhelming to be honest. Live, however, they cause enough glandular upset to justify a second listen. Their love of Elvis, noisy hi-hats and scatology come over in the live arena, and while, this may result in little more than some spectacular hangovers and several embarrassing photo messages of people’s private parts, then that’s fine. That is, in an odd way,
what all great rock’n’roll is about.
