MIDDLESEXGORGE Scottish Ballet has trotted this feisty work out on a number of occasions, but some costumes bear overexposure. Stephen Petronio choreographed MiddleSexGorge in 1990 when
he and former lover Michael Clark were fusing art and
politics on the New York dance scene. Frenetic, sexually charged and with a faint whiff of aggression, the piece is driven along by the throbbing sounds of punk band. Wire.
