A. i Faiii'iiifiaii} EE- Cover story: Roam Fasten your seatbelts: theatre in this country is taking off. Little more than a month ago, the National Theatre of Scotland launched with a series of performances including one piece of drama that involved people abseiling down a Glasgow tower block. Now, they’re going one step further with a promenade performance in Edinburgh Airport. Devised by Grid Iron, Scotland’s reigning kings and queens of site specific theatre, Roam takes its audience airside: past the check-in, through security, and into a fictional world of everyday angels. With an outstanding cast (including cover star Itxaso Moreno) and a limited number of places, this is easily the hottest ticket in town. We look at the themes it’s covering, and interview director Ben Harrison on page 20.
