Not to bang on too much about the reputation Stow College’s Electric Honey Records have but they

have a way with picking great indie rock out of the mire. Belle and Sebastian and Bif‘ly Clyro started the ball rolling and this year’s most excellent treats, How to Swim, take B&S’ notion of having a bloody massive band (see pic) all throwing their oar in to make a supremely individual noise. Somewhere between the Divine Comedy, Spike Milligan and Jad Fair, their debut mini album The Littlest Orgasm is strange and beautiful in ways you won’t be ashamed to tell your friends about. In short, they’re topping this excellent Triptych bill of local acts - featuring Found, Mellow Sub Machine and more - because they’re dead good.
