Glasgow Co-ordinator - Six Cities Design Festival £23,000 per annum, fixed term contract until 30th June 2007
the Lighthouse is looking for a highly motivated, creative and organised individual to assist in the creation and delivery of Glasgow's contribution to the Six Cities Design Festival acting as a Co-ordinator and the point of contact between Glasgow’s Steering Group and the central Six Cities Team.
the aim of the Six Cities Design Festival is to promote the role of design in developing new products, processes and services in order to stimulate economic growth and regeneration and the creative ideas that will improve our lives.
You will have at least two to three years proven experience within an events management/design/marketing field, preferably within a cultural organisation and have experience of staging exhibitions/events and creative programmes, including research, exhibition set up and maintenance and events management.
