Creating a mixture of Latin jazz, swing and hip hop, the career of Jimmy Luxury & the Tommy Rome ‘Orchestra’ started when DJ Rome played Jimmy some croonsome Dean Martin classics and Jimmy decided to freestyle over them. Pretty soon, a clear vision of this unique concept appeared to the pair, and they set about putting the then Rap Pack into action, even going so far as to do the publicity shots before recording a note.
