MIKELANGELO AND THE

BLACK SEA GENTLEMEN Virtuoso eccentricity oooe

Tales of human TZtXl’ttrlth. the laments of a pencil-iiioustat:hed Catalan Casanoxa and some rather duestionabie tasterr‘i Furripean accents are amongst the unliker but

superb treats on offer at a perforrriance that is as amusing as it it; musically :icciimr ilished.

The immaculater coiffed force of nature that is head hencho tvtikelangelo. a Nick Ga\.'e-v<)ir:erf crooner who kisses. sits on and attempts to undress various members of the crowd, has enough charm to get away wrth sending shards of glass and hot wax flying by taking a sWipe at a table.

The accompanying Sea Gentlemen take their varying solo turns too. including Guido Libido acting out an eerily realistic silent film. or the Great Moldavro's hilariously rariibling story.

Inter song banter is sharp and drny delivered, and the musicianship top notch, whether it‘s Croatian westerns. a sadly underrer)resentetf part of modern music, rollocking polka tunes or the ultra catchy ode to carnal desire that is ‘A Formidable Marinade". (Emma Newlandsl
