Gillespie, Kidd and Coia Project Co-ordinator

£15,000 per annum, fixed term contract until 31st January 2008

The Lighthouse Programme Team are looking for a highly motivated, creative and organised individual to assist With the co-ordination, administration, financial management and day-to-day programme activities of the Gillespie Kidd and Com project.

Gillespie, Kidd & Coia are possibly the most imaginative and avant-garde architectural practice to come out of Scotland in the 20th Century. This project aims to preserve and catalogue their significant archive, housed at the Glasgow School of Art, in order to make it accessible to researchers and the wider public. It also aims to promote awareness and use of the archive through a range of stimulating and informative outreach and audience development activities including a major exhibition, film, book, education and outreach programme and website.

You will have a degree in architecture, design, histOry of art or related discipline and a keen interest/knowledge of 20th Century architecture. You will also have knowledge and/or interest in archives and experience and/or interest in an exhibition context.

Edinburgh International Science Festival

The Edinburgh International Science Festival is the world's first and Europe's largest public celebration of science which takes place over 14 days in April, with a unique pro- gramme of events presenting science in an accessible, fun and contemporary way. The touring programme reaches primary schools across all of Scotland, including rural, remote and deprived areas. EISF is currently going through a programme of expansion and we are looking for three exceptional individuals to join our team.

Science Events Manager, Circa £25,000

Working with the Festival Director you will be responsible for managing the creation and refreshment of our renowned children's science shows, workshops and other programmes of activities that are delivered at the Edinburgh International Science Festival and across

Scotland through our touring programmes.

You will have excellent project management skills and be capable of pushing complex projects through to completion on time and on budget. You will have a real interest in and some knowledge of science and technology. A creative streak would also be a distinct advantage!

Festival Administrator

Circa £15,000 (Fixed Term Contract October 2006 - May 2007)

The Edinburgh International Science Festival is looking for a bright, energetic and commit- ted individual to provide administrative support to the Festival. Event Management and Marketing experience would be an advantage. You will have excellent time management

and Microsoft Office skills.

DeveIOpment and Marketing Assistant, £17,000 to £19,000

This is an exceptional career building opportunity in the area of corporate social responsibil- ity. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to secure funds for the Festival from some of Scotland's leading large and medium sized companies and to take charge of

delivering the benefits to them.

We are seeking a young professional with very strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of ability with Microsoft Office. With strong organisational skills, you will excel at working under pressure and keeping clients happy. This is an opportunity to build your marketing and entrepreneurial skills in the not for profit sector.

This job requires education to degree level or qualifications by experience, with at least one

year's relevant experience.
