I Congratulation to Craig Mulholland tor being awarded the Scottish Arts Council and Screen and Artists Film and Video Award. The money will go towards developing his successful experiments with digital film, evidenced in his exhibitions at last year's Glasgow International, Tate Britain, Stirling’s Changing Room and recently at Glasgow Project Rooms.
I Peacock Visual Arts (funded by Aberdeen City Council and The Scottish Arts Council) offers three six month residency posts for artists to work within the community and utilise the tools at Peacock and Station House Media Unit. The application deadline is 29 September. and a 22500 budget will be made available for the creation and presentation oi artwork. The chosen applicants will be accommodated in a tumished flat in the project area. allowing them to become fully immersed in the local community. Artists will gain experience in collaborative practice and project management and expand their technical skills. as well as having time to develop their own work it distinct from the collaborative practice.
