Running Scotland's National Centre for Architecture. Design and the City. an organisation with over 60 employees and an annual budget of around £6 million. It is our job to improve the quality of design wherever it touches our lives, from the design of our homes. our cars and our furniture. through to the way we build our cities. We do this through exhibitions, conferences. talks. campaigns. and lots of other initiatives. It’s also our job to promote and support the designers and architects who

are working here in Scotland. Their talents are not sufficiently recognised here!

What's the. best thirst:

Trying to make a real difference to the wellbeing of people in Scotland. I’d like to see us building better schools and better houses, as well as creating better work environments. The best thing about my job will be if I manage to make genuine improvements to the lives of ordinary people in Scotland.

Hearts&Minds delivers Clowndoctors and Elderflowers - inspiring arts-in-health programmes for children and the elderly with dementia in hospital care across Scotland.

We are now looking for freelance professional performing

artiSts to join our team of talented and committed practitioners. Clowndoctors and Elderflowers are very Special performers - we need people who have a wide range of performing arts skills (ideally with character clowning training). experience in using the arts to benefit others and significant professional performing experience.

Funded by Aberdeen City Council, we also receive Scottish Arts Council Foundation funding in recognition of our vital role as part of a network of national dance agencies in Scotland. You’ll bring a degree in Dance, Arts, Arts Management or equivalent and have a proven record of successful arts development and funding applications.
