AD MINISTRATIO N OFFIC ER

Fixed term maternity cover from April 2007 (Salary Negotiable)

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to provide an effective and efficient administration service to support the Company’s Senior Management and ExeCutive Management Teams. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills, with a SOund knowledge of Windows-based packages, Outlook and Excel. Experience of minute taking is essential and previous experience in an arts-related role w0uld be advantageous. Please note that interviews will take place on Wednesday, February 14, 2007.

RECEPTIONIST

Permanent (Grade 5: £10,703 - £14,271)

We are seeking an efficient full-time Receptionist to provide all reception and telephone services for Scottish Ballet. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a s0und knowledge of Windows-based packages, Outlook and Excel. Experience of switchboard operation is desirable and, whilst not essential, previous experience in an arts-related role w0uld be advantageous. Please note that interviews will take place on Tuesday, February 6, 2007.

EDUCATION MANAGER

Permanent (Grade 3: £21,384 - £26,163)

We are seeking an experienced individual to manage and coordinate Scottish Ballet’s broad ranging Education programme, from evening classes for adults to schools workshops and access initiatives in conjunction with the Company’s t0uring programme. The successful candidate will possess a knowledge and understanding of Current national cultural policy and the educational climate in Scotland and the place of the arts within that. Knowledge of the arts and arts education network within Scotland would be advantageOus. Please note that interviews will take place on Monday, February 19, 2007.

ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER Fixed Term Contract from April 2, 2007 to March 2, 2008 (Circa £17,000 per annum pro rata)

We are seeking an effective and efficient Assistant Stage Manager to suppOrt the Stage Manager and ensure the smooth running of rehearsals and performances both in the studios and venues. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, an ability to score read and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Health and Safety. Please note that interviews will take place on Friday, February 23, 2007.

GENERAL MANAGER

£28,000 per annum

You will act as depute to the Director with overall responsibility for staffing, business and financial performance, including safety and environment issues, business sustainability and development, general management issues and, on a day to day basis, will ensure that resources are organised to provide maximum support to the artistic programme and policy and that legislative and licensing requirements are met.

OFFICE AND PROGRAMME ASSISTANT

£15,000 per annum

You will be responsible for all general office duties using spreadsheet, database and word processing applications, including key point of contact and support for exhibiting artists. Knowledge of exhibition preparation/management, including budgetary control would be an advantage.

FACILITIES ASSISTANT (P/T 2 DAYS)

£7,000 per annum

You will be responsible for all aspects of the maintenance and safety of the CCA’s building, fixtures, fittings and equipment, ensuring that the building and its equipment is in good working order. Previous electrical/plumbing skills would be an advantage.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANT (P/T 3 DAYS) E’l l .700 per annum

YOU will assist the Production Manager to ensure that all CCA events, both hires and in house events, is produced

to the highest standard, including, when required, the recruitment of casual crews and supervision of their work and liaison with clients, providing for their technical and production requirements.

For all posts, knowledge of contemporary art is desirable.
