The List is giving away 10 signed copies of the graphic novel of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Kidnapped by comic book artists, Alan Grant and Cam Kennedy. Commissioned for the One Book - One Edinburgh Citywide Reading Campaign, this cracking tale of high adventure lends itself to the graphic novel treatment and the new book offers a wonderful reading experience.

The One Book One Edinburgh Citywide Reading Campaign is co-ordinated by the Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust and is designed to get as many people as possible to read the same book at the same time. 25,000 copies of Kidnapped are being distributed throughout February in three editions a paperback copy of the original text, a new graphic novel and a simplified re-told version for younger readers. The campaign is backed by over 30 free events during the month, full details of which can be found on www.cityofliterature.com

Every Festival has tales of the one that got away - the world premiere that almost happened, the star name who was desperate to come, the film that would have taken your breath away. Sometimes there’s a second chance to make those tales a reality. The Surprise Film will be the first chance to see a brand new feature. It could be the biggest Hollywood blockbuster of the year or a cutting edge British dazzler. We’re not even going to supply you with a hint. Our lips are sealed. All we will tell you is that we 100 tickets to give away to you for the screening on Saturday 24 February 7.30pm at Cineworld, Renfrew Street.
