1 ecause it’s freakin’ NIN! Who they, you say? Only Trent Reznor's band of black-clad, not- so merry purveyors of 903 industrial-rock. Think Depeche Mode for the grunge era. Only with more guitars. And even more self- loathing.
2 New album Year Zero is out in April 80 there's every chance they'll be playing some new material and less stuff from 2005’s With Teeth. Which, if we're being honest, was a bit duff.
3 They put on a hell of a live show As anyone who's seen the And All That Could Have Been live DVD can tell you. Featuring backdrops. light shows and revolving video screens, they've got enough wattage to power Vegas. 4 Thankfully for his band, Trent’s grown up a bit Reznor was fond of going a bit mental on stage and knocking over his other band members and their equipment and pouring water on them; something witnessed at their debut Scottish show at Tut's a million years ago. The band resorted to covering their gear in gaffer tape to stop it breaking when Reznor went off on one.
5 They’ve got the approval of The Man The Man In Black, that is. Prior to his death Johnny Cash covered the MN track ‘Hurt'. Truth be told, it’s even better than the original. Although.
