The Jazz From Sweden festival is well underway now, and this fortnight has thrown up an intriguing collaboration between our own Laura MacDonald on alto saxophone, and Swedish drummer and bandleader Martina Almgren. With pianist Paul Harrison and bassist Aidan O’Donnell onboard, it should be a fascinating combination. (Kenny Mathieson)
