HAPPY azmamy MEFS‘W’E

The world’s cutest quinquagenarian (or fifty-something) is enjoying a career retrospective at the National Library of Scotland with an interactive exhibition of artwork and memorabilia. Her illustrious career began in 1955 and since then she has gone on to conquer the children’s picture book market, selling over 85 million storybooks worldwide in more than 40 languages. The man behind the rabbit, Dutch artist Dick Bruna, who is 79, first drew the skew-mouthed bunny to entertain his son and has now published 116 children’s picture books.
