The seemingly bizarre double bill pairing of Richard Bracewell’s small, intimate and interesting character drama about a small group of older women and the gigolos they use, starring the great Anna Massey and Susannah York, and Paul Andrew Williams’ visceral, compelling gangland thriller (pictured) actually makes more sense than you might at first think. Both are Britflick debuts from two very promising filmmakers. The Gigolos will be shown on the Cameo’s new digital film set up and both films are also showing separately as late shows on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 May respectively.
