NewcastleGateshead Art Fair is adding another date to the North East’s cultural calendar. Taking place Thu 10—Sun 13 May the event is expecting around 6000 visitors flock to see the 55 galleries exhibiting and selling a range of exclusive artwork. One lucky List reader will win a pair of tickets to the VIP opening on Thu 10 May , 3 nights stay for two with breakfast at the Malmaison and two first class return rail tickets courtesy of GNER.

The wonderland of art, which will be housed in a purpose built marquee, will appear between BALTIC and the Sage Gateshead, on Gateshead Quays. There will be a range of different art works including photography, drawings, sculpture and paintings from international artists, which will all be originals or limited edition prints.

A must for all art lovers and first time buyers’ prices will range from £150 - £10,000 with something for everyone’s taste. Organisers expect this to become an annual feature in the increasingly colourful NewcastleGateshead calendar.
