No, your eyes do not deceive you. This is a horse with
wings. Sceptics can see for themselves, too, as the catchily-titled Spirit of the Horse: The Legend of the Chimera visits Edinburgh and Glasgow this fortnight. Somewhere between a particularly grandiose opera and a monster truck rally (but with horses) this large-scale piece of equestrian theatre uses 120 hooves to tell the story of Pegasus’ (pictured) triumph over the ancient Greek monster Chimera. Perfect for anyone who never actually got that pony for Christmas. Oh, and they have unicorns, too.
