Have a flurry of festive fun at Winteriest Glasgow! Featuring all the holiday favourites from the energetic Shindig in the Square on St Andrew’s Day and the vibrant Festive Markets, to Santa’s Grotto and the biggest party at Glasgow's Hogmanay.

Don your best woolly hat and gloves and race to George Square for some dancing on ice at Glasgow’s newly remodelled ice rink. Full of family fun, Glasgow on Ice opens its doors on Saturday 24 November and offers skating tun right through until Sunday 6 January 2008. The rink is open 7 days from 103m - 10pm (excluding public holidays - see website for details) and we have five pairs of tickets to give away.

Edinburgh‘s Hogmanay celebrations are world-renowned with thousands of people taking to the city streets to welcome in the new year. As the official drinks supplier to Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party Scottish 8. Newcastle UK will be on hand to ensure party-goers have a night to remember by oflering List readers the chance to win:

In addition to the Street Party, this year’s line-up includes Kasabian, ldlewild and Calvin Harris. There will be another three stages featuring amongst others the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, and a DJ set from Joy Division and New Order bassist Peter Hook. For the Ceilidh in the Gardens, Latin-Celtic fusion group Salsa Celtica and dance band The Occasionals will help to keep people entertained throughout the night.
