Edouard Lock has a track record for producing startling, radical dance. In Amjad, Lock takes inspiration from elements of classical ballet, deconstructing and re-interpreting them with a startling contemporary twist. The dancers are accompanied by an on-stage quartet playing the music of Gavin Bryars, David Lang and Blake Hargreaves.
