I Capital fans are being asked to vote for Edinburgh to be placed on a worldWide edition of Monopoly. More than 2000 travel writers nominated Cities, and, out of the 68 chosen, the public are being asked to vote on the final 22. Online ballots can be cast until Thursday 28 February

I Following their success last year, the INDY Music Awards are set to return later this year, shifting the focus from London to the whole of the UK. The public can vote for their favourite nominated artists, in all 19 categories, at www.indyawards.co.uk from Friday 1 February-Monday 31 March. I Ten people are being sought in Glasgow to host international volunteers as part of the first ever Global Xchange with Syria. Global Xchange, run in partnership with international development charity VSO and the British Council, aims to bring people aged 18-25 together in the community.
