'l‘ohar an Dualchais/Kist o Riches is an exciting and innovative project which aims to conserve. digitise. catalogue and make available online (iaelic and Scots recordings from the School of Scottish Studies at [idinhurgh University. BBC Scotland and the National Trust's (‘anna Collection. We are now lookilig for one person to work 28 e 35 hours per week on the Scots song collection from the School of Scottish Studies. This will involve cataloguing. cross-referencing and indexing the songs.

Working as part of a large cataloguing team. the successful candidate will listen to recordings in their own home. and enter information in an online database. lie or she will spend time on a datahase of song titles. ensuring all are efficiently cross— referenced.

We are looking for people with a good knowledge of Scots song and familiarity with one or more dialects of the Scots language. Experience of similar projects would be useful. although training will he given. Access to broadband internet is
