Thanks to an injection of cash from the

Heritage Lottery Fund which has allowed a large number of old reportage films to be restored and transferred onto accessible formats, it's now possible to watch the remarkable films in this archive. This specially compiled hour-and-a-half programme features evacuation of St Kilda footage, plus amazing images of the launch of the Queen Mary and the Empire Exhibition of 1938.
