When Llewelyn Moss (Brolin) takes a bagful of cash frotn a drug deal that goes wrong he sets off a chain of events that lead psycho-killer Chigurh (pronounced sugar) to vow to do anything to get the money back. In this remake of Miike Takeshi‘s 2003 J-Horror. campus queen Beth Raymond (Sossamon) watches as her friends mysteriously drop dead from a lethal tnobile phone message. Once she's received a missed call of her own. Beth has a predictable race against time with the help of tough-guy detective Jack Andrews (Burns). The Orphanage (15) sees (Juan Bayona. Spain. 2007) Belén Rueda. Fernando Cayo. Roger Princep. l()5min. First-time director Bayona and producer Guillermo del Toro create the best ghost story of the year so far. Laura (Rueda) was raised in an orphanage and on returning to her childhood home with her son Simon (Princep) things start to get creepy. The key to the success of this film is the edge-of- the-seat suspense. and there‘s even a brilliant sting in the tale. Selected release. The Other Boleyn Girl (12A)

Playing the Boleyn girls. Ponman and Johansson are cast against type in less-than-thrilling sibling rivalry. while the usually excellent Bana (as the King) simply looks fed up. Based on real events. this film recounts the devastating massacre of Aramoana. a small New Zealand seaside town. in which. in November 1990. a local man shot dead l3 people. before being killed himself by a policeman.
