Public Programmes Manager Salary £22,032 - £28,540 (Pay Band D)

Applications are invited from suitath experienced candidates for the post of l’uhlic Programmes Manager. We require a highly motivated events organiser to huild and deliver an internationally recognised programme of events spanning science. environment and the arts. within a world class hotanic garden.

You will work as part of the Events and lixhihitions team dedicated to developing audiences and raising awareness of our understanding and appreciation of the natural world. Your role would he a locus and facilitator for all puhlic events taking place at Rli(il’.. In addition to generating and overseeing events your responsihility would extend to liaising with our partners. securing sponsorship and helping to develop a strategic and imaginative approach to event planning and delivery.

You will have responsihility for organising other team niemhers working on a variety of events and should he ahle to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure. You will he required to think creatively. try out new ideas and enthuse others. lixperience of promotion of puhlic events. understanding of audiences particularly in the areas of science or arts is essential.

of. cinema and the moving image in rural and remote areas of Scotland. It will also take over the running of the acclaimed mohile cinema operation. the Screen Machine.

The Director of Regional Screen Scotland will he a key strategic and operational post. working closely with the other ‘lluhs' identitied in Scottish Screen's lixhihition strategy lhttp://www.scottishscreen.coml building a dynamic and effective new organisation with a national role and devising innovative ways of providing access to a quality cinema experience.
