WIN TICKETS TO THE HAIRTH FESTIVAL

The unique l-lairth Festival will take place at Knockengorroch for three days from 19-21 September 2008 and we are giving a pair of tickets away. The event promises to complete the summer festival season with an explosion of top musical acts from the Celtic diaspora and beyond.

From Warsaw Village Band’s modern take on Poland's folk roots to Kathryn Tickell’s virtuoso Northumbrian folk to anarchic deviation from Chumbawamba, the festival promises a full and rich musical experience.

The Hairth will also feature folk music sessions, open mic, cabaret, fire shows, children's marquee, workshops, storytelling, walkabout, healing zone, a longhouse venue, global shopping, good food, real ale, showers and camping in the Galloway hills. The three day event will reflect the intimate atmosphere which has been a feature of Knockengorroch Festivals since their inception 11 years ago.
