Shop Manager £15,201 - £15,828, 35.75 hours, City's Museums and Galleries

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to play a key role in managing the shops and reception areas in the City's Museums

and Galleries.

You must have experience of working in the retail sector and a background in heritage and cultural venues would be a benefit. You will have some experience of staff training and supervision and be able to demonstrate a commitment to maximising sales in the context of a public service.

Sales Assistant (4 posts) GS1 £11,211 £14,940 pro rata,

We need enthusiastic and self-motivating team- workers to help run our retail and reception sites in

You must have experience of working in a retail environment, experience of operating tills and following procedures relating to cash handling, merchandising and stock control. You must also be an effective communicator and have a good level of computer literacy.

The hours of these will be 5.5 hours on Sundays and occasional Saturdays, you must have the ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Contact Centre Manager (Maternity Cover)

You will manage our 2 box offices and ensure consistent customer service face to face, on the phone and online. You will be an experienced. hands—on manager. deal with customers direct. devise and implement strategies to improve performance. proactively lead the sales team. deliver great customer care and maximise income.

2 years experience of managing a team in a sales and customer focused environment essential. This post is temporary.

£24,031 per annum (pro rata)

Full-time/average 37.5 hrs per week

Team Leader (Box Office)

We are looking for a dynamic team leader to support our Contact Centre Manager. You will coach the team on the job. mentor and work with the Box Office Supervisor. and help develop processes and practices that will ensure exceptional customer service face-to-face. by phone and on-line.

You will provide tickets and information for customers of both venues, and will pro-actively manage the performance of the teams to maximise sales. Computer literate and 2 years experience of leading teams in a customer-facing sales environment essential.

Management development training is attached to this post. Day/evening working is required.

£16,630 per annum

Full-time/average 37.5 hrs per week

Box Office Assistants

You will work in our Contact Centre across both venues providing tickets + information. Good people skills essential. Experience of sales and cash handling desirable. Evening 8 weekend work will be required.

£5.75 per hour _ (rlsmg to £6.12 after 26 weeks servrce) Full time/39 hours per week

Front of House Assistants

We’re here to entertain and delight. and it’s your job

to help by making every visit a special one. Customer service experience essential. Evening & weekend work will be required.

£20.16 per shift (one shift is 3.5 hours)
