White Fields andOpen Devices, the debut album from this Leeds quintet is a breathtaking beast, recorded in the wilds

of Minnesota at the same studio where Nirvana's In Utero and PJ Harvey’s Rid of Me were laid down. At first glance, Vessel’s epic Sigur Ros-esque sound might not share a huge amount sonically with Polly or Kurt’s albums but all three records enjoy flashbulb moments of big noise
