BUILDING SUPERVISOR

One of the UK's major producing venues is looking for an experienced BUILDING SUPERVISOR to join the operations team.

Working with the team responsible for the development and running of Iist.co.uk (Scotland's largest events and entertainment website - with an audience of over 375,000 unique users per month) you will play a central role in developing the digital infrastructure for our next phase of growth.

Required skills: I Strong track record of designing and building databases for websites with significant traffic I Excellent knowledge of database design, optimisation and maintenance (currently MySOL) I Thorough understanding of XML.

Desirable experience: I PHP, CFML, Java, RDF I Understanding of publishing systems based on Adobe lnDesign, (x)l-ITML, Ajax I Linux system administration I Prior experience within the Arts & Entertainment sector or in the development of listings or ticketing systems would be advantageous.

The role will include providing day to day operational maintenance. caretaking. seCUrity and technical assistance to ensure the efficient operation of the theatre.
