at Alliance Francaise in Glasgow for 15 months.

Organising French- related social and cultural activities overseeing the running of our language school. Liaising with the French Embassy, our main

sponsor and my employer.

I can meet potential students who want to learn French, professionals seeking to develop their activities in France, and artists of all domains. keen to share their passion for France and French. I have also always enjoyed working with local staff both in Australia and here. I learn a lot from them but I also get to change light bulbs and fix printers.

.I trained as an English teacher and taught in a high school very briefly and then

at university. I did some research in linguistics and completed a PhD but once that was done, somehow. life on the Pacific Coast of Australia was more appealing than in a badly lit lab.

the language skills that' s for sure; this really broadens your perspectives tremendously. You also need to build your own experience and be daring in doing so. Take opportunities as they come; go for it and do not think too far ahead.

l have given above it seems difficult to say where I will be I would like to see myself doing something completely different. I have a thing for IT (an understatement my friends say) and I must say I would quite like to work to a professional level in IT. advocating the use of ICT in training and particularly language training. I am also interested in law and intellectual property in the context of ICT- development, so I might go down that alley as well.
