Company Chordelia

Company Chordelia is one of Scotland's most creative contemporary dance theatre companies. The company has secured major financial commitment from the Scottish Arts Council for its development plans, and is seeking to appoint a Producer to manage the company’s growth during this exciting period.

The post is part-time, equivalent to two days per week

in the first instance. Salary is £30,000 pro rata. The successful candidate will have c0nsrderable experience of developin a tourin performance company, preferably with know edge of t e dance sector, With particular focus on fund-raising.

SPECIALIST ADVISORS

We are seeking specialist advisors to carry out evaluations of projects, performances and organisations throughout Scotland which are supported by the Scottish Arts Council. It would also include working in partnership with Scottish Arts Council officers, representatives and staff.

We need independent advisors with expert knowledge of crafts. dance. drama, literature, music. visual arts, arts education, new media and combined arts. We also need specialist advice in areas such as arts and disability, arts and health, cultural diversity. marketing, intellectual property rights and business planning.

We are also looking for those who have specialist expertise in working with community groups and organisations (many with limited arts experience) which are being funded through our Inspiring Communities fund. to help support them in developing their artistic programmes and business operations.

We welcome applications from those with relevant expertise. who can demonstrate their skill and knowledge at a national and international level.

The appointment will be for one year from 1 April 2009 -
