Kurt Jackson Cornwall meets the west coast of Scotland in a new exhibition currently running at the capital’s Dovecot Studios. The show, which is being curated by Louise Jones of Truro’s Lemon Street Gallery, features more than 70 works by the celebrated Cornish artist Kurt Jackson and explores the ongoing destruction of our landscape through sculptures and small and large- scale paintings one of which stretches to 30ft in length. Jackson, a former botanist, created much of the work for the show following a spell in Ardnamurchan on the west coast of Scotland and one of the most remote parts of the country, and the exhibition is accompanied by a film detailing his experiences on the peninsula. Dovecot Studios, Edinburgh, until Sat 24 Apr.
