To mark the launch of its new summer menus, train operator East Coast is offering readers of The List a mouth-watering competition that’s good enough to eat!
East Coast has two First Class return rail tickets to London, and an £80 meal voucher to give away to one lucky winner, where they can enjoy the delicious new menu on their journey. The menus feature a variety of new, internationally inspired dishes such as smoked salmon blinis and Thai salad, alongside traditional British favourites such as sausage and mash and fish and chips.

East Coast operates 136 weekday train services along the East Coast Main Line, linking London King's Cross, the East Midlands, Yorkshire and Humberside, North East England and Scotland.

Scottish Hydro is plugged in to local communities around RockNess and is throwing down the gauntlet to budding local music journalists by offering them the fantastic opportunity to gain access to the hidden corners of the most beautiful festival in the world and review the event.
The Prize: a press pass to cover the weekend’s escapades, with the finished review published in The List and on list.co.uk. As a bonus, Scottish Hydro is also including a VIP pass so you can bring along a friend. We’re always on the look out for raw talent so if you think your skills are up to the challenge, we want to hear from you. The focus of the piece must be on music and reviewing an event, so you may want to send us a review of a band you've already seen, or maybe one you've always wanted to see.
