EMINEM 1 It’s been a while The last time Marshall Mathers played the UK was 2004. He was due back to play London the following year, but cancelled due to exhaustion. So the crowd at T is expected to go a tiny bit nuts when the real Slim Shady takes the stage at Balado for his comeback. 2 He’ll hopefully bring his A Game He may be getting on (the one-time wannabe Spice Girl impregnator is now a youthful looking 37-years-old) but rumour has it new album, Recovery is a banger. Early listens of tracks with Pink (‘Won’t Back Down’), and Rihanna (‘Love the Way You Lie’) show no signs of him softening up. (See eminem.com for some rousing skyscraper video action.)
3 He’s bringing his homies Eminem’s longtime collaborators D12, aka The Dirty Dozen play the Slam Tent the same day, so there’s a good chance he’ll get his Detroit MC buddies up onstage with him.
