MIGHTY APHRODITE? Article: Kylie Minogue – Aphrodite (three stars, 659) I must admit your review of Kylie’s latest album made me smile. Let’s get this straight: this is a total return to form and her best album for years. I have also been lucky to
hear it all in full now, and it has at least five or six potential singles on it, with no real fillers. The next rumoured single ‘Get Out of My Way’ is her best track in years. Public opinion will be the judge, not some critic who obviously just wants to cause a stir. Kylie fans will love it, and

CHIP, CHIP HOORAY Article: Coatbridge fish and chip shop voted best in UK My husband and I decided to try the top ten fish and chip shops in the UK. To date we have done five, but I must tell you about our experience in the Atlantic fish bar in Coatbridge (the deserved winner).
We have no car, so we went by train from Rugby. We explained when we arrived at the shop that we had walked from the train station and we were supplied with two stools round the back – and a lovely cup of tea.
Then the lady gave my husband an ice cream, as he is half Italian and she was of Italian decent. They had a lovely talk about Italy and World War Two. My father-in-law was an Italian prisoner of war.
I think the service in this fish and chip shop cannot be beaten, and as for the food – it was magnificent. We will be going back! Atlantic, Rugby Comment posted at List.co.uk

HISTORY LESSON Article: Johan Grimonprez – dial H-I-S-T-O-R-Y (658) This is a fantastic exhibition. The two main films are longer than you would normally expect to have to sit through in an art gallery, but are well worth the effort. ‘dial H-I-S-T-O-R-Y’ is pretty stressful, and not advisable to watch if you’re about to go on holiday, but a good antidote is ‘Kobarweng’ right after for some comic relief.
